Aura is built around creative identity. This policy explains what information supports that experience and the controls available to you.
1. Who we are and scope
Aura AI is provided by WeStudio (collectively, “Aura,” “we,” or “us”). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use the Aura mobile application, this website, and related support and generation services.
2. Information you provide
We process information you choose to provide, including account or authentication details; avatar names, attributes and persona selections; prompts and template choices; photos you upload; generated images; favorites and gallery activity; feedback, support messages and account-deletion requests. Please do not upload another person’s image or information unless you have their permission and a lawful right to do so.
3. Information collected automatically
When you use Aura, we may receive an account or anonymous installation identifier, device and operating-system information, app version, language, general region, subscription and credit status, feature interactions, notification token, crash reports, diagnostics and performance data. Where required, we request permission before accessing photos, sending notifications or using data governed by device tracking controls.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide and personalize Aura; create the avatars and images you request; maintain identity consistency, galleries and favorites; authenticate users; manage credits, limits and subscriptions; send service notifications; prevent abuse; secure, diagnose and improve the service; respond to requests; and meet legal obligations. We do not use uploaded photos to create an advertising profile.
5. AI processing and generated media
The character attributes, source photos, style selections and generation parameters needed for your request are sent to our cloud and AI-generation providers. Generated media and related parameters may be stored in your gallery so you can access, favorite and download them. AI processing may produce unexpected results; review an image before using or publishing it.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We use service providers to run Aura, including Google Firebase services for authentication, database, file storage, analytics, performance monitoring, crash reporting and messaging; Adapty and applicable app stores for purchases and subscription status; cloud-hosting and AI-generation providers; and support infrastructure. They process information under their contracts and privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information for money.
7. Legal bases and international transfers
Depending on where you live, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, comply with law, or based on your consent. Providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.
8. Retention
We keep account, avatar and gallery information while your account is active and as needed to provide Aura. Diagnostic and transaction records may be retained for security, accounting, dispute-resolution and legal requirements. After deletion, information may remain for a limited period in protected backups before it is removed or de-identified.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct, delete, receive, restrict or object to processing of your personal information, and withdraw consent where it applies. You can manage photo, notification and tracking permissions in device settings. Subscription cancellation is handled through the store where you subscribed and does not itself delete your Aura account.
10. Account deletion
You can submit a deletion request in Aura from Settings → Delete Account. The app explains the applicable waiting period and deletion status. You may also visit our Account Deletion page for instructions or contact support. We may need to verify the request and retain limited records where law requires it.
11. Children
Aura is not directed to children under 13 or the higher minimum age required in their country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information improperly.
12. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, but no online system is completely secure. Protect access to your device and notify us if you believe your account or content has been compromised.
13. Changes
We may update this policy as Aura, our providers or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date here and provide additional notice where a material change requires it.
